Long Week

It has been a Busy week at FRESH.

We kicked off Halloween with an incredible Dungeon Art Show. Local Salt Lake City Photographer Chris Swainston brought in a collection of his pieces. The Dungeon was decorated in true Halloween Fashion, Cob Webs, Costumes, Smoking Bar, and amazing Art. Upstairs we had great Soul Music flowing and a Bloody Polaroid Booth. All proceeds from the sale of the Photos went straight back to the Artist.

By the time we all had recovered from Halloween it was time to get our Right Hand Hi and Welcome KID SISTER to SLC. It was her first time performing here in SLC and hopefully it won't be her last.

With all these events going on FRESH still had time to accept new deliveries from RVCA, Ambiguous and TOMS Shoes.

The new Bota (mid top) from TOMS arrived and has been hard to keep on the shelf. Warm winter jackets and flannels have been arrivng from RVCA, Ambiguous and Matix.

We haven't forgotten about headwear. COAL beannies and armwarmers have arrived just in time for winter and holiday shopping!

Lets Clear the Air

FRESH is almost 3 months! But really FRESH came about almost a year ago. I was working up at Brighton with my friend Zane and we just started talking shop. Talk became a business plan and the business plan became a reality. One year later, thanks to a lot of help from friends and family, Ian (younger brother) and I opened up FRESH July 15th 2009!

This was not an overnight decision, it was months of planning, researching and locating a spot. After several failed attempts a spot on 9 & 9th opened up. Yes it used to house SLC one and only sneaker boutique, but not anymore. We were fortunate to find the spot we are in now, but unfortunate because we have to break through a screen of misconception and rumors. Believe what you hear or not, Ian and I are always at the store down to chat with anybody. We want to hear your thoughts, that is the only way we can grow as people and as a business.

FRESH is not a boutique, FRESH is a clothing store. Our plan is to bring a clothing store to SLC that is friendly, supports the local artists/designers as well as bringing some FRESH brands and style into SLC. We are not claiming we were the first ones to ever think of this idea, we are just hoping to expand the idea.
FRESH is bringing quality lifestyle apparel at an affordable price. With the world how it is today we all need to watch where our pennies go.

FRESH is not looking to take over, but we are looking to take on SLC fashion.

Hello friends,

It's crazy all the things happening lately, the king of Pop is dead and Justin Timberlake has filled his shoes, a similar thing is happening at our humble shop. We have been working hard to get Fresh open, but sometimes you just gotta wait for a good thing to get going. Helen and I are pleased to announce that this Wednesday, July 15th, we will be opening the shop to the public.

We've got a hot box from Ambiguous, some shoes from Zuriick , a bit of womens apparel from Lifetime Collective, and some Tank Tops from Shogo. In the next few weeks we are expecting to fill the store with some of your favorite brands, and some new ones that will become your favorite.. Coming for our GRAND opening August 8th is Insight, Lifetime Collective, TOMS shoes, Coal, Matix, WESC, Beta Unit, Element Eden, Funhat, and a few surprises along the way.

This Wednesday you will get the chance to see Josh Scherman painting a big 'ol mural on our back wall for the Gallery stroll this Friday. Also if you're of age (21+) we will be biking down to the W Lounge to shimmy and shake to my friend Jeff (Hot Noise) and AC Slater..

FRESH will be settling in right in the 9th and 9th block. Our address will be 870 E 900 S.

This month is clean up and preparation. July our doors will slowly be opening but watch out in August our GRAND OPENING will be then.

Well it’s been a long time coming and the biggest secret I had to hold but it is now out. Something FRESH will be happening in August. A new store of sorts, don’t call us a boutique, we are a Clothing Store and more.
FRESH will be a clothing store, for both men and women. We will be carrying street wear, lifestyle clothing along with some shoes and accessories. FRESH will also be a host to art shows, giving a gallery like spot to all local artists.
Keep your ears and eyes open, August will be the time to get FRESH.
This summer we will have some FRESH items available to sell. First is our Sunnies. FRESH.SLC sunnies are now available. A classic wayfarer style with FRESH.SLC engraved in the frame so don’t worry we are not going anywhere.
